Blake Lively confirmed for lead in ‘The Survival List’
The iconic actress is going steady with her acting career as she bags her next role in the upcoming rom-com thriller. As per reports from The Hollywood Reporter, the star will lead the project ahead. This also marks her first film since her last romantic drama film titled ‘It Ends With Us’ adapted from Colleen Hoover’s book of the same name.The story of the film follows Annie, a TV show producer who is assigned a new job, much to her dislike. It is a new survival show that is being hosted by famous survival expert, Chopper Lane. The two end up getting stranded on a random island, where Lane’s truth comes out; he is nothing but a mere fraud. Annie ends up taking charge of the situation, trying her level best to figure out how to get them away from the island, alive and in one piece. Tom Melia has been credited as the writer of the final script, and he has worked on renowned projects such as ‘Rye Lane’.
