‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ was written and directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru. Produced by Deepak Mukut, the film stars Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane, along with Anurag Sinha, Manish Chaudhari, Murli Sharma, and Sudesh Berry. The story follows Inder, a tough ex-convict, and Saru, a traditional librarian, whose love faces a tragic turn that changes their lives forever.
The movie, which initially flopped at the box office upon its release in 2016, has now become a massive hit among cinema lovers following its re-release. In just six days of its theatrical run, the film collected Rs 23.6 crore and has already collected Rs 27.96 crore nett in the first week, a marked improvement from its original release earnings of around Rs 9 crore.
