Woman says her baby swapped, South dist hospital opens probe | Goa News

Panaji: The South Goa district hospital has begun an inquiry after a mother claimed that her baby was swapped after her delivery at the hospital on April 8.
The hospital has denied all allegations.
“As per all available hospital records, there is no exchange of babies, however, a detailed departmental inquiry will be conducted,” Dr Rajendra Borkar, medical superintendent told TOI.
According to the hospital, the woman had delivered a girl via C-Section last week, but she claims that she delivered a baby boy.
Even as the woman made the allegations against the hospital authorities, she has not filed a police complaint as of Friday evening.
