The New York Knicks point guard, Jalen Brunson shares with his wife Ali Marks a relationship that is brimming with love. Their relationship dates back to them being high-school sweethearts post which Brunson proposed to her after dating each other for almost a decade in September 2022. The power couple are also proud parents of their daughter and a dog.

Details of the swoon-worthy proposal at their alma mater

Brunson proposed to Ali Marks back in their alma mater, on the basketball court of the high school gym. The cherry on top was the flower and candle arrangement in the center court. The proposal was followed by a picture-perfect wedding at Chicago’s Ritz-Carlton hotel on the 29th of July, 2023. Speaking to PEOPLE Magazine, Marks shared, “We wanted it to be a big party: celebratory and joyful, with lights, lasers, a fun DJ, good food, good drinks.”
On the other hand, Jalen Brunson shared, “She’s always been by my side and I’m lucky to have her. I’m excited to celebrate this special milestone with all of our closest friends and family, who have been so supportive over the many years of our relationship.”
Later on July 31st, 2024, the power couple welcomed their daughter Jordyn James Brunson into the world. They also are proud parents of their dog, Kona.

When it comes to Ali Marks, she attended the Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Illinois where she first met Brunson. They had started dating in October 2013 and attended senior prom together in May 2015. Later, when Brunson attended college at Villanova University, she studied at the University of Illinois and got her doctorate in physical therapy the following year at Northwestern University. Post the long-distance relationship, they decided to move to Dallas together and focus on their relationship.
Ali has continued to be Brunson’s biggest cheerleader right from high school when she would support him sitting on the courtside during his professional matches. She was also by his side when he got his first Knicks jersey in May 2023. Additionally, she was by his side during one of the most exciting times of his career. This was when he signed a 104 million dollar four-year contract with the New York Knicks in June 2022.
The couple has also embarked on multiple international vacations together, sharing swoon-worthy pictures on Instagram. Some of the exotic locations include Jamaica, Miami, and Montego Bay.
