‘We can get one man killed every day’: Goldy Brar warns Punjab govt in purported audio after parents’ arrest
Following the arrest of his parents, gangster Goldy Brar allegedly issued a threat in a surfaced audio clip, warning the Punjab government against further action and vowing retaliation against police and political figures

CHANDIGARH: Two days after Punjab Police arrested foreign-based gangster Goldy Brar ’s parents from Amritsar in a Dec 2024 extortion case, a purported audio of Brar has surfaced in which he warned govt “not to indulge in such acts”, threatening to “strike back” at police officers and political leadership.“We can get one man killed every day,” a voice is heard saying in the clip, which surfaced Wednesday night. Police are yet to confirm if the voice was indeed Brar’s and said they were having the audio investigated. “We are taking it very seriously,” said an officer.“I want to say this to the Punjab govt: if you have courage, you should do the right thing and take me head on… You used all agencies and police, yet could not catch me, and now you have arrested my elderly mother and father from Harmandir Sahib when they went for darshan,” the voice says. “You are limited only up to Punjab, we are spread across the whole world.”The clip surfaced within hours of an FIR being lodged against Brar in Mohali after the murder of an undertrial outside the gates of the DIG and SSP offices. Gurvinder Singh was an accused in the 2020 murder of Gurlal Brar, a cousin of Goldy Brar. After the murder, Brar issued a social media post to claim it was vengeance for Gurlal’s murder.
