Watch: Israeli Air Force destroys 2 Iranian F-14 jets; stops UAV launch towards Israel

Continuing Israel’s military operations against Iran, the Israeli Air Force destroyed two Iranian F-14 fighter jets, and identified and eliminated an Iranian launch team preparing to launch drones towards Israel.The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) published a footage of the strike on its official social media account, with the caption: “RECAP of Our Recent Operations Over Tehran: Strike on two F-14 fighter jets that were located at an airport in Tehran. These jets were intended to intercept Israeli aircraft. Thwarted a UAV launch attempt toward Israel. Eliminated a launch cell minutes before launch toward Israel after intelligence tracked and identified its launch team deploying UAV launchers and weapons.“The Israeli Air Force shared the footage of its strike on an Iranian truck which was carrying a surface-to-air missile launcher.“A short time ago, another Iranian truck carrying a surface-to-air missile launcher was spotted on the main road between Tehran and Qom. The Air Force attacked the truck within minutes, destroying the launcher and missiles,” it said.Earlier, Israel bombed an Iranian government-run news channel amid escalating tensions between the Jewish state and the Islamic Republic. In the video, a female presenter was delivering news when a loud explosion rang out, prompting the journalist to flee her seat in panic.The crisis began with Israel’s attack under Operation Rising Lion on targets linked to Iran’s nuclear programme on June 13. Iran responded with Operation True Promise 3, resulting in further strikes and counter-strikes by the two rivals.
