What was initially a breakout event of both streamer and title has become a tautology at this point since there is constant cheating threatening to reverse the tide.By the release of 2026, the exuberation has given way to frustration on the part of most high-profile creators. Introduction of stream sniping, hacking and repetitive griefing have made the sessions unpredictable and tiring. Whereas the developers have assured fixes, the reality that streamers go through narrates a more gradual tale. TheBurntPeanut vents frustration after repeated cheating incidents
During his January 15 stream, emotions finally boiled over. After dealing with the same group of cheaters for an extended period, TheBurntPeanut issued a blunt warning to the developers.“Embark, fix this or I’m f***ing out of here. Give us something or I’m actually out of here,” he said, while calling the situation unacceptable.He doubled down moments later, making it clear the issue was no longer minor irritation. “This is ridiculous. If those guys are not IP-banned from this game then I genuinely don’t think I’m going to play it. I don’t think I’m going to play it.”The comments quickly spread across social media, raising concerns that ARC Raiders could lose one of its most visible champions. However, cooler heads followed. Later that day, Peanut clarified his remarks on X, explaining the outburst came from prolonged frustration rather than a true desire to walk away.“Hey gang, I was just heated at that moment because the same 3 cheaters had been following us for a long time without getting banned (which is a pretty reasonable thing to be pissed about),” he wrote.He also reaffirmed his support for the developers, adding, “In reality I love @ARCRaidersGame and I know that the @EmbarkStudios team is incredibly passionate about it and is working hard to continue making it great.”TheBurntPeanut is far from alone. Other major streamers, including Nadeshot, have raised similar alarms. While Embark Studios has rolled out ban waves, many players now want permanent solutions.
