The Great Khali Rules Out Full-Time WWE Comeback – Here’s Why!

The Great Khali has closed the door on returning to WWE as a full-time performer and he has good reason for it.
The Great Khali is one of the most accomplished names in the wrestling business from India. The Punjabi Giant carved out a remarkable career in WWE and his last appearance in the ring came at the 2018 Greatest Royal Rumble PLE. Khali was asked about returning to WWE on a full-time. But the former World Heavyweight Champion had good reason to shoot down the idea.

Why did The Great Khali refuse to return to WWE as a full-timer?

In a recent appearance on Rewind, Recap, Relive, The Great Khali made it clear that he has a lot of ventures going on in his home country of India. His commitments keep him busy all time which puts coming back to WWE on a full basis out of the question. This gives quite a good reason for the former Punjabi Playboy to not pursue a full-time run in WWE again.
Khali stated, “I don’t think so, going back to WWE. I’m doing so many things. CW, I have a restaurant business. I have lots of commercials. So many events in India. I’m busy all the time. I don’t want to come back to WWE.”

The Great Khali On Possible WWE Return, John Cena’s HEEL TURN, Debuting Against Undertaker

The Great Khali made his debut in WWE in 2006. It was a highly memorable night on SmackDown as he took down one of the greatest WWE legends of all time, The Undertaker with ease. In 2007, Khali went on to become the first-ever WWE superstar from India to win the World Heavyweight Championship. In his WWE career, he has gone on to battle legendary names in the business such as John Cena, Big Show, Kane and Batista.
After retiring from the ring, Khali went back to India to start his own wrestling school and promotion, Continental Wrestling Entertainment to train the next generation of stars from his country. Moreover, his last appearance for WWE came at the 2023 WWE Superstar Spectacle event that took place in Hyderabad, India. While The Great Khali has ruled out returning to WWE full-time, a brief cameo appearances is still a possibility in the future, so we will have to wait and see.
