Sennheiser HD 505 in Copper Edition launched in India

Sennheiser has launched its HD 505 headphones in India, priced at Rs 27,990 and available through Sennheiser’s official website and Amazon India. The new Copper Edition model targets emerging audiophiles and gamers seeking high-fidelity sound experiences.
The HD 505 features a custom 120-ohm transducer developed at Sennheiser’s Tullamore facility in Ireland, offering a frequency response range of 12 to 38,500 Hz with less than 0.2% total harmonic distortion. The headphones employ angled transducers that mimic nearfield loudspeaker placement to create an expansive soundstage.
“The HD 505 is for anyone ready to experience the audio awakening that Sennheiser headphones are known for,” said Vijay Sharma, Regional Senior Director, ApeC Consumer Hearing Business. “With these headphones, you don’t just hear the sound—you feel it.”
Weighing only 237 grams, the HD 505 is designed for extended listening comfort with a lightweight frame, synthetic leather headband, and metal mesh earcup covers. The model includes a detachable 1.8m cable with a 3.5mm plug and a 6.3mm adapter for versatile device compatibility.
The headphones’ modular design allows for interchangeable cables and earpads, providing users with flexibility to adapt their setup over time. Sennheiser emphasizes the HD 505’s wired design as an advantage for pure audio reproduction without concerns about battery life, wireless pairing, or misplacing components.
The company positions the HD 505 as delivering analytical tuning with detailed sound reproduction across various content, from music and movies to gaming, with particular emphasis on its deep bass, clear treble, and immersive soundstage.
