School marks Rashtriya Ekta Diwas with ‘Run for Unity

DAV Public School, Sector 14, Gurugram, observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas recently to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, with students participating in a campus-wide ‘Run for Unity’.NSS volunteers took part in a 2 km run aimed at promoting national integration and reinforcing Patel’s message of unity and collective strength. Principal Aparna Erry flagged off the event, urging students to draw inspiration from the Iron Man’s legacy of nation-building.The programme concluded with students and staff taking a pledge to uphold integrity, harmony and solidarity. The school said the initiative served as a reminder of Sardar Patel’s pivotal role in unifying India and encouraged students to contribute to strengthening the nation’s social fabric.
