Petrol pump manager shot dead in UP’s Sikandrabad for refusing to fill fuel in bottle |

BULANDSHAHR: A petrol pump manager was shot dead in the Sikandrabad area on Wednesday night following an altercation with two men who demanded petrol in a plastic bottle, police said on Thursday.
The incident occurred when two men on a motorcycle arrived at the fuel station to refill their bike. After that, they asked an employee to fill petrol in a plastic bottle, which he refused. The duo then approached the station manager, 30-year-old Raju Sharma, and repeated the demand.
When Sharma also denied their request, a heated argument broke out. In a sudden act of violence, the two opened fire on him and fled the spot, police said.
Sharma was immediately rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
Senior Superintendent of Police Shlok Kumar confirmed that an FIR has been filed. “The accused have been identified with the help of CCTV footage. Efforts are on to apprehend them,” he said.
