Pakistani TikTok star Sana Yousaf shot dead at home, her last words were….

Sana Yousaf, a 17-year-old Pakistani TikTok influencer known for her vibrant content on women’s rights and cultural identity, was shot dead on June 2, 2025, at her home in Islamabad. According to a report by Gulf News, the assailant, identified as her cousin Umar Hayat, also known as “Kaka,” was arrested within 24 hours of the incident. According to police reports, Hayat entered Sana’s residence under the pretense of a visit. An eyewitness, Sana’s aunt, recounted that Sana told Hayat, “Go away from here. There are cameras all around. I will fetch you some water,”before he shot her twice in the chest at close range. Sana died on the spot, and her body was transported to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for a post-mortem examination.

According to the CCTV footage of the incident, Hayat was seen walking away from the crime scene. He was typing on his phone, before escaping the city on a motorbike.Hayat was apprehended in Faisalabad and confessed to the crime, citing repeated rejections of his friendship proposals by Sana as the motive. The police recovered the murder weapon and Sana’s iPhone from him. CCTV footage corroborated his presence at the scene.
