Maharashtra Natural Gas Ltd increases CNG and PNG prices in Pune

PUNE: The Maharashtra Natural Gas Limited (MNGL) increased the price of CNG in Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad, and adjoining areas of Chakan, Talegaon, and Hinjewadi by 75 paise. The price of 1 kg of CNG, which was Rs 89, will be Rs 89.75 from April 9, officials said.
Similarly, the domestic PNG price was revised from Rs 49.90 per SCM to Rs 50.65 per SCM (standard cubic meter).
“This revision became necessary and was exercised as there was an increase in the input cost of domestic gas and an increase in trade margins charged by oil marketing companies by 5% with effect from April 1,” an MNGL official said.
