The Golden State Warriors head coach, Steve Kerr, was quick to react to Curry’s groundbreaking achievement. In a post-game press talk, Kerr appeared wearing a black T-Shirt where Curry’s 4,000 3-Pointers were printed. It was a clear nod of respect and appreciation for his standout star. In addition to that, Kerr shared that Curry could achieve 8,000 3-pointers. His reaction came after a reporter asked, “Now that we’ve reached 4,000, if he can stay healthy, how far can he take this.” Kerr did not hesitate to respond, “8000?”
“Yeah, who knows? Who knows? I mean, you know, it just seems like it was not too long ago that he broke the record and what was, what was that, less than 3,000. What was it? (2974), Yeah. So, he just keeps going the way he keeps himself in shape and condition, in rhythm, he’s going to, you know, he’s going to make another thousand for sure. I mean, I just, that’s what I would do, but who knows?” Kerr added.

Certainly, it would not be out of the box to sink into the idea of Curry getting another thousand to possibly make his record ironclad and unbreakable. Even his 4,000 3-pointers are far ahead of any other NBA stars. James Harden is currently standing at second place with 3,124. Considering his athletic abilities, if he remains fit, Curry will certainly add more 3-pointers to his bags before he bids farewell to the league.
