KOLKATA: A student was allegedly raped within the premises of a law college in Kolkata, prompting the arrest of two students and a staff member who is also an alumnus of the institution.As per the police, an FIR was filed based on the student’s complaint, naming all three accused. Investigations revealed that one of the accused committed the assault, while the others were involved in abetting the incident.Police identified the accused as Manojit Mishra, Zaib Ahmed, and Pramit Mukhopadhyay.

The trio will be produced before the A.C.J.M. Court in Alipore, South 24 Parganas, with a prayer for police custody to facilitate proper investigation.(The victim’s identity has not been revealed to protect her privacy as per Supreme court directives on cases related to sexual assault)
