Journey of Tina Sharma: From song inspiration to family vlogger bridging Indo-Pakistani cultures
Tina Sharma, an Indian woman who married a Pakistani man, has begun vlogging to share her life as Aiysha in Pakistan

AMRITSAR: Tina Sharma, the real-life woman who inspired the song “Ladki Bathinda Ki Jawan Gai Re, India Mein Bolae Sadi Jaan Gayee Ray”, is now starting family vlogging in Pakistan. She aims to share insights into Indo-Pakistani social and cultural issues, family events, culinary traditions, and more.
“After nearly seven years, I am starting family vlogging to showcase various aspects of family life through online videos, offering my personal perspective on life in Pakistan. As an Indian who became a Pakistani woman through marriage, I hope to dispel the myths many people in India hold about the country. The love and warmth I received from my husband, the Pakistani family, and the community were overwhelming, and I want to share this experience with others through Hunjra family vlogs,” said Tina, now Aiysha, after marrying Muhammad Suleman, a resident of Gujranwala, Pakistan.
In 2015, Tina Sharma, a mother of two, met Muhammad Suleman while playing an online game, and their connection quickly turned into a deep love story. On 24th October 2018, Tina travelled to Pakistan, where she married Suleman just five days later. During this life-changing journey, she also embraced Islam. Today, Tina, now Aiysha, is a proud mother to a daughter, Aiza, and a son, Zayan.
Impressed by Tina and Suleman’s cross-border love story, a Pakistani film director decided to bring their romance to the screen. He created a bold song, “Ladki Bathinda Ki Jawan Gai Re, India Mein Bolae Sadi Jaan Gayee Ray”, which featured Pakistani actress Neelam Muneer in the romantic film Kaaf Kangana.
She said that through her vlogs, she intends to highlight the love and warmth she receives from her Pakistani family, showcasing how she balances the demands of motherhood while maintaining a strong bond with her spouse and children.
She added that the vlogs will also feature culinary traditions, regional dishes, and cultural practices, offering a glimpse into her daily family life. By sharing her journey, she hopes to bridge cultural gaps and foster a deeper understanding of family life across borders.
