IIM Raipur, NADT Nagpur join hands for academic collaboration | Raipur News

RAIPUR: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur, known for “#BuildingBusinessOwners,” signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT), Nagpur.
This agreement aims to promote academic collaboration, research, capacity building, and knowledge exchange in taxation, law enforcement, public policy, management, and related fields.
The collaboration will focus on joint research projects, faculty development programmes, student internships and projects, and practical exposure.
Both institutions will also organise joint seminars, workshops, and conferences to facilitate continuous learning and the exchange of ideas.
IIM Raipur Director Prof. Ram Kumar Kakani expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “This union is a strategic alignment of academic vision and practical governance needs. Such meaningful partnerships expand the knowledge horizon of young minds, giving them space to indulge in innovative thinking for public welfare.
By blending real-world applications and research-driven perceptions in public policy and taxation, we are underscoring our commitment to raising nation-building leaders.”
The MoU was signed in a formal ceremony by Professor Kakani and Aakash Dewangan, Additional Director General (Planning & Research), NADT. The partnership is expected to enhance knowledge sharing by utilising the expertise of both institutions and create opportunities for future collaborations in various academic and research areas.
