Cam Ward seems to be an overthinker who said that it would be a big mistake by the NFL team if they didn’t draft him. After the quarter-led class of 2024, two people are around the signals which involves- Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward and Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders.
What is the quarterback? The quarterback is a candidate that go No.1 overall after making 4,313 passing yards and 39 touchdowns. Coming to the record and being one of the highest scorers Cam Ward received the Davey O’Brien Award.

The Associated Press reported, “OK, you’re either going to draft me or you’re not,” Ward said. “If you don’t draft me, that’s your fault. You’ve got to remember you’re the same team that’s got to play me for the rest of my career, and I’ll remember that.”
He said, “I just think we all got what we needed out of it.” “They seen things that they think they need to work on … for this season coming up. And they also knew, you know, what I had on the line. We feel like we’re doing what’s best for the program and myself.”
He expressed his thoughts, “If I could do it again, I’d do it the same way.” “I wish we could have ended up winning the game. If we had won the game, they wouldn’t have said anything. And so, that’s usually how it goes. And you know, you just got to take it on the chin and just keep pushing.”
There were even rumours lingering about his decision to exit the December game after he broke the NCAA D1 record but Ward says he and Miami made some choices before the contest. In the game Miami end losing to 42–41.
Flashing back to his collegiate career, he made 190 yards, 158 touchdowns, and 18,189 passing yards and was honored with the Davey O’Brien Award.
