How to solve the Cloister room puzzle in Blue Prince and reach the middle
The Blue Prince game is full of interesting and hidden secrets. Cloister’s room is one of the trickiest puzzles of it. At first glance, it will appear empty, but the clever players can unlock the path to the valuable permanent buff. Here is how you can crack the puzzle and claim the reward without having to waste the precious gems.
Find the Cloister room
The Cloister room is the Green Room. So, give priority to the green cards when drafting. Use Greenhouse to boost your chance, or grab the Green Thumb book with the Secret Passage. The entry will cost you 3 gems. So, save up. However, if you can find the Terrace first, it will remove the Green Room fees.
After you get inside, head to the statue. The real challenge is in the pillars flanking it. To interact with them in the right order will open the path forward. If you miss the step, the middle will remain out of reach.
Activate hidden switches
Facing the statue, inspect pillars on either of the sides. Look for any small switches near the base. The cursor will change when you are hovering over the switches. Press the right pillar switch first and then choose the left. There are some players who reported success in reverse, but the sequence works reliably.
After you trigger both, the hidden wall will drop. It will reveal the central area. Now, you will be able to step into the restricted zone and claim the prize.
Claim the reward
Behind the statue, there is an Allowance Coin. It is a permanent upgrade that grants +2 coins to the players daily. Return back to the Entrance Hall and then check the table for the envelope that is labeled Allowance to activate the bonus. If you wish for more coins, you can seek out other puzzles like Trading Post for additional rewards.
While there, you can also dig around using a shovel that can be found in the Courtyard or the Toolshed for extra loot.
Note: to revisit the Cloister in the future runs will not offer you another coin. However, the hidden gems might still continue to spawn.

If the room seems to be inaccessible, always double-check the pillars. The switches are quite easy to be missed. If you still have no luck, ensure that you drafted enough of the green cards or have saved the gems for the entry.
