Should Brad Marchand Be Traded By The Boston Bruins? Fans Believe So
Recently, The Athletic’s Chris Johnston made a post on X that read as, “While the Bruins continue to go back and forth with Brad Marchand on a possible contract extension, word is they’re still open to potentially trading their captain. Teams calling with interest aren’t being told “no” right now.”
Fans are pretty divided about this news. A fan commented, “Not sure why they would sign him. Look at their situation and he’ll be 37 soon”, while another fan wrote, “If someone comes In hot with a crazy offer I don’t see how you don’t trade him. He’s 37 not playing great and I doubt he does the Bergeron Krejci hometown discount for an extension gotta think about it”
Other fans guessed it would either be the New York Rangers or the Toronto Maple Leafs who would pick him.
Apparently, the 37 year old star player has made it pretty clear to the Boston Bruins that he would want to remain within the Original Six teams; this includes – Montréal Canadiens, Toronto Maple Leafs, Boston Bruins, Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings, and New York Rangers.
