Farmer electrocuted by snapped overhead wire in Karnataka

MADIKERI: A farmer was electrocuted to death in Bychanalli near Kushalnagar on Monday evening after a live overhead electric wire snapped and fell on him.
The victim, identified as B.B. Mohan, was returning home after shopping when the incident occurred. According to the police, he died on the spot due to the electric shock.
Following the incident, CESC engineer Manjunath and his team rushed to the location to inspect the site. Kushalnagar municipal councillor Jagadish, along with other locals, staged a protest demanding compensation for the victim’s family.
Mohan is survived by two sons and a daughter.
