CTET February exam dates 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially opened the registration process for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026 session. Candidates aspiring to secure eligibility for teaching positions across the nation can now apply online. The online application commenced on 27 November 2025 and will remain active until 18 December 2025, with both form submission and fee payment to be completed before 11:59 PM on the final day.The examination is scheduled for 8 February 2026, with Paper-II set for the morning shift from 9:30 AM to 12:00 Noon and Paper-I in the evening from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.

CTET February exam 2026: Steps to apply online

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned here to apply for the CTET February 2026 exam:Visit the Official CTET websiteCandidates must log on to https://ctet.nic.in, the only authorised portal for CTET applications.Click on “Apply Online”The link redirects applicants to the registration interface where the online form begins.Fill the authentication formProvide essential details including:

  • State
  • Identification type
  • Candidate’s name
  • Date of birth
  • Gender

Upon submission, the system generates a Registration Number/Application Number. Candidates must note it carefully.Complete the online application formFill in personal details, academic qualifications, contact information, and choose a secure password following the mandatory password policy:

  • Length: 8–13 characters
  • Must include uppercase, lowercase, numeric, and special characters

The system prevents repetition of the last three passwords.Upload scanned imagesEnsure strict compliance with specifications:

  • Photograph: JPG/JPEG format, 10–100 KB, 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm
  • Signature: JPG/JPEG format, 3–30 KB, 3.5 cm × 1.5 cm

Non-compliant uploads may lead to rejection.Pay examination feePayment modes: Debit/Credit card or Net Banking. If payment status is not “OK,” candidates must repay; failed transactions are refunded automatically within a week.
