The tournament, which will run from February 19 to March 9 in Pakistan and Dubai, features eight teams divided into two groups of four. A total of 12 group-stage matches will take place, followed by the semi-finals and the final.

ALL-TIME RUN-SCORERS
India skipper Rohit Sharma and baating maestro Virat Kohli will be eyeing the top spot on the Champions Trophy’s all-time run-scorers list. Kohli currently ranks 11th with 529 runs, while Rohit sits in 14th place with 481 runs. Chris Gayle leads the chart with 791 runs.

HIGHEST INDIVIDUAL SCORE
The highest individual innings record in Champions Trophy belongs to New Zealand’s Nathan Astle, who scored an unbeaten 145 against the USA in 2004. A score exceeding 150 has not been achieved by any batter in a single Champions Trophy match. The batting-conducive surfaces in Pakistan present an opportunity for players to potentially surpass this benchmark.
HIGHEST TEAM TOTAL
The Champions Trophy tournament still awaits its first 350-plus score. Given the increasingly attacking style of play in ODI cricket nowadays, there is a strong possibility of teams achieving this landmark in the upcoming edition.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma stand close to setting a new milestone for the highest number of 50+ scores in Champions Trophy history, a record presently shared by fellow Indians Shikhar Dhawan, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid, who each have six such innings.
Having played 13 and 10 matches respectively, Kohli and Rohit have notched up five 50+ scores each in the tournament. With India set to play a minimum of three matches in the current edition, there is a strong possibility that either one or both of them will match or exceed the existing record.
MOST WINS
The Indian team has an opportunity to achieve a milestone of 20 victories in the tournament by winning two matches in this edition. With 18 wins already under their belt, India lead the Champions Trophy tally, surpassing England and Sri Lanka by four wins each.
