Registration for the Bihar Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) 2025 counselling process will begin on November 29 at bsebdeled.com. The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has opened the Common Application Form (CAF) for candidates who qualified in the DElEd Joint Entrance Test (JET). Applicants can submit their forms and pay the fee till December 5. The first selection list will be released on December 11, followed by multiple rounds of seat allotment. Around 30,800 seats will be filled across government and private teacher-training institutes approved by NCTE. The counselling marks the final phase of the 2025-27 admission cycle, coming days after the board declared the entrance exam results.
Eligibility criteria for Bihar DElEd counselling 2025
Applicants must meet the academic and age requirements set by BSEB:
- Class 12 pass from a recognized board
- Minimum 50% marks for General category candidates
- 5% relaxation for SC, ST and PwD candidates
- Minimum age: 17 years as of the admission year
Only candidates who have qualified the DElEd Joint Entrance Test (JET) are eligible to participate in the counselling-cum-seat allotment rounds.

How the counselling and seat allotment works
BSEB will allot seats based on merit rank, category and choices submitted in the CAF. After the publication of each selection list, candidates must:
- Download the allotment order

- Modify choices if they wish to participate in further rounds
This counselling is strictly for candidates who cleared the entrance test conducted earlier this year. The process will continue until all available seats for the 2025–27 batch are filled.

- Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates

- Transfer certificate and character certificate issued by the last institution
- Passport-size photographs
