Article 370 removal not liked by enemies of state, traitors: Goa state BJP president

Panaji: BJP on Wednesday condemned the terror attack on innocent tourists, who were singled out based on their faith.
BJP state president Damodar ‘Damu’ Naik said the people of the state and country should stand steadfastly behind PM Narendra Modi.
Naik said that the removal of Article 370 ensured that the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, along with its citizens, was brought into the mainstream.
“The democracy was restored with strong participation of people, and a people’s chosen govt was installed to administer the UT, unlike in the past when friendly govts were installed after manipulating the votes,” Naik said. “This restored the faith of the people of Kashmir in PM Narendra Modi, and of late, the UT of J&K has been flourishing under the decisive leadership of Modi. His policy of ‘Sabka Vikas, Sabka Saath, Sabka Vishwas & Sabka Prayas’ ensured that everyone, irrespective of caste, creed, and religion, was provided meaningful employment due to the ushering in of a thriving tourism industry.”
“However, this was not appreciated by the enemies of the state as well as internal traitors who are trying their best to stop the path of progress that has been set in motion in Kashmir. They are trying to demoralise and provoke the citizenry,” the BJP state president said.
“I am sure that our brave security forces will do their work swiftly and diligently to neutralise these enemy forces. However, I sincerely appeal to all the citizens of Goa and Bharat to stand steadfastly behind Modi in this time of need and support all his endeavours in this battle,” Naik said.
