Annoyed PCB raises concern over use of Champions Trophy logo without Pakistan’s name during India vs Bangladesh broadcast | Cricket News
Ahead of the big-ticket India vs Pakistan group fixture in the Champions Trophy on Sunday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has raised concerns with the International Cricket Council (ICC) regarding the omission of their nation’s name from the tournament emblem displayed during the telecast of India-Bangladesh match played in Dubai.
PCB sources have told PTI that the ICC has acknowledged the mistake and confirmed that future matches in Dubai will feature the complete three-line logo incorporating Pakistan’s name, same as the other matches hosted by Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi.

“Yes, it’s confirmed that PCB has written to ICC, and the ICC has assured the PCB that they will use the three-line horizontal logo with Pakistan name in all Dubai matches – the same broadcast logo graphic which was used in Karachi matches on February 19 and 21,” a PCB source told PTI.
As per the hybrid model agreed upon by the ICC, PCB and the Board of Control for Cricket in India, the Indian team’s matches will be played at the Dubai Internation Stadium, including the semifinal and the final if India reach that stage.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has reportedly acknowledged to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) that the omission was due to a technical error.
The broadcast of the India-Bangladesh fixture displayed only ‘Champions Trophy 2025’ in the top left corner logo, omitting Pakistan’s name as the host nation.
Meanwhile, India opened their campaign with a confident six-wicket win over Bangladesh, while Pakistan lost in the tournament opener against New Zealand by 60 runs.
