AI is not a threat, can raise value of workers: Anand Mahindra

NEW DELHI: Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra on Wednesday said artificial intelligence is not a threat, but an accelerator as it can raise value and dignity of blue-collar jobs. “As Al reshapes industries, many fear disruption. I respectfully disagree. I believe Al is an accelerator not a threat,” Mahindra said in his year-end message to colleagues and added that AI will take over routine tasks, allowing practical skills to gain importance, when combined with Al tools. “We will rediscover the value of people who can build, craft, repair and operate the real machinery of life.”
