Katrina recalls her first meeting with Vijay Sethupathi

Talking about their first interaction, Katrina shared that her initial impression of Vijay left her pleasantly surprised. She said, “Our first meeting was all three of us — Vijay sir, Sriram sir and me — together in a room. I had recently seen a picture of Vijay sir where he had full white hair and a white beard. So when I entered the office, I didn’t know what to expect. When I saw him like this, I said, ‘Oh wow, that’s a really different look,’” Katrina recalled at the press conference.She added that the connection felt natural from the very beginning, setting a positive tone for their collaboration.

Katrina went on to describe how inspiring it was to work alongside Vijay Sethupathi and director Sriram Raghavan. “I was extremely excited to be working with Sriram sir and Vijay sir. As soon as we came together in a room, everyone was just themselves and we instantly connected,” she said.She further added, “The minute Vijay sir started speaking about the scene, it was fascinating. I felt he is someone who uses things in such a unique way, and Sriram sir also has a very unique take on everything he does.”
