Virat Kohli reveals his retirement plans with Anushka Sharma: ‘May be a lot of travelling’

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma serve couple goals and every time Virat plays with his lady love in the stands, the internet goes crazy. While their reels and PDA go viral, they also serve major goals and inspiration for many. However, when not playing, Virat is into his shell and the family likes to stay away from the limelight. Which explains why, the couple has been spending a lot of time in London ever since the birth of their son Akaay Kohli in 2024. They also have a daughter Vamika who was born in 2021.
The cricketer was recently asked about his plans after he retires and here’s what he had to say. Kohli made a revelation at the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) Innovation lab, ahead of the IPL (Indian Premier League) 2025. He said, “I might not have another Australia tour in me, so I am at peace with whatever happened in the past.”
When asked about his retirement plans, he said, “I actually don’t know what I will be doing post retirement, recently I asked a teammate the same question, and got the same reply. Yeah but may be a lot of travelling.”
Virat and Anushka love to travel and find their life outside of their careers. They also won hearts when they were spotted in Vrindavan to meet Premanand Maharaj.
During this visit, Premanand Maharaj told Virat that his success on the field of cricket gives happiness to the entire country, hence that’s his seva. He also spoke to them about how to deal with success and failure. Anushka had told him that time, “Mujhe sirf prem bhakti de dijiye aur kuch nahi (I just want to have love in my heard for the Lord.” The couple is often seen indulging in spirituality during their travels and Virat’s inclination towards it is largely credited to Anushka’s presence in his life.
