Tamannaah Bhatia is ready to play a strong and magical role in the upcoming supernatural thriller Odela 2, releasing in theatres on April 17. The trailer was launched today in Mumbai and gave fans goosebumps. Tamannaah plays a fearless Shiva devotee who fights evil in a haunted town.
Tamannaah’s Witty Response Wins Hearts
At the trailer launch event, a reporter playfully asked Tamannaah, “If you were given a supernatural power in real life, who would you want to control?” Without hesitation, she replied with charm and grace, “I just want to live in everyone’s hearts.” Her smart answer won loud cheers from the audience.
A Divine Battle Against Darkness
The powerful trailer introduces Tamannaah as Shiva Shakti, a divine force entering a village haunted by evil. Vasishta N. Simha plays the villain, who seems possessed and targets women, creating fear. Tamannaah’s character steps in as a saviour, setting the stage for a thrilling spiritual battle.

Earlier, the film’s teaser was launched at the Maha Kumbh Mela in February. Tamannaah spoke about the emotional and spiritual experience, calling it a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. She was deeply moved by the massive crowd and the strong sense of devotion and faith that made the grand event possible.
A Strong Cast and Production Team
Odela 2 is the sequel to the 2022 Telugu film Odela Railway Station. Directed by Ashok Teja, the film features Tamannaah in the lead role and is produced by Sampath Nandi Teamworks and Madhu Creations. The cast also includes Hebah Patel, Surender Reddy, Naga Mahesh, Vuva, Bhupal, Vamshi, Gagan Vihari, and Pooja Reddy.

With music composed by Kantara fame B. Ajaneesh Loknath and cinematography by Soundar Rajan S, Odela 2 is set for a pan-India release.
