Suniel Shetty shared a witty and thoughtful comment regarding his 2000 comedy film ‘Hera Pheri‘ also starring Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal in the lead. When questioned about the possibility of reuniting with Akshay Kumar in another patriotic film, Shetty responded with a mix of humor and reflection.

During the trailer launch of his new movie ‘Kesari Veer‘, Shetty jokingly referred to Hera Pheri as a patriotic film, stating, “Hera Pheri? Hera Pheri is a patriotic film. The one that can keep the country happy”.

Addressing the mental well-being of today’s generation, Shetty pointed out that many young people are struggling with happiness. He stated, “The problem with today’s kids is that they are not mentally happy. Hera Pheri is for you all so that you can be mentally happy.”

The actor further said, “We make people laugh, feed them, and even in poverty, we laugh and make others laugh. And if you get a partner like Baburao, don’t even ask!”
About ‘Kesari Veer’
Kesari Veer, set to release on May 16, features Vivek Oberoi alongside Suniel Shetty and tells the story of the unsung heroes who defended the Somnath temple in the 14th century. Shetty portrays Vegda Ji, a valiant warrior, in this historical drama.
