As per the report, Suniel Shetty, along with his son-in-law and Indian cricketer KL Rahul, has jointly purchased land worth Rs 9.85 crore. The property is situated in Owale, Thane West, near the well-known Ghodbunder Road, strategically located between Anand Nagar and Kasarvadavali.
Transaction Details and Location
According to records from the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) website reviewed by Square Yards, Suniel and KL Rahul have jointly purchased a piece of land. The transaction was officially registered in March 2025. The property is situated on Ghodbunder Road, a key thoroughfare linking Thane West to the Eastern and Western Express Highways, providing suitable access to important business districts in Thane, Mumbai, and the western suburbs.
Land Size and Financials
The records indicate that the deal includes 7 acres (28,327.95 sq. meters or roughly 33,879.58 sq. yards) of undivided land, which is part of a larger 30-acre and 17-guntha property. The transaction attracted a stamp duty of Rs. 68.96 lakh along with registration charges amounting to Rs. 30,000.
