Sunaina Roshan, sister of Hrithik Roshan, has candidly spoken about her battle with alcohol addiction and her transformative stay at a rehabilitation centre. During a recent conversation, she recalled how her brother’s tough decision became a turning point in her recovery.
Reflecting on her 28-day rehabilitation course, Sunaina revealed that there was a moment when she was desperate to return home. However, Hrithik stood firm, insisting she complete the programme before leaving. “There was a time when only family members were allowed to call us, and that was the time when I really fought with my brother over the phone,” she said in a conversation with News18 Showsha. “After years, I yelled and screamed at him that I wanted to come back home. He was like, ‘You are not coming back home. You have to finish this course and only then come back home.’ It was very, very tough.”

Hrithik remained steadfast in his decision, believing it was in her best interest. Sunaina shared that Hrithik told their family to let her go through the process and come out of it by taking proper time.
Throughout her struggles, Sunaina found unwavering support in Hrithik, whom she described as her greatest source of encouragement. “Hrithik is my biggest cheerleader. He is always happy, and he is the one person from whom I seek validation. Because even though he is younger than me, he is still my little brother, and I look up to him in so many different ways,” she expressed.

She also praised his dedication to fitness and discipline. Sunaina shared that even if he has any health issues, he never holds himself back from pursuing his work and passion.
On the work front, Hrithik Roshan has announced his directorial debut with ‘Krrish 4‘. He will soon be seen in ‘War 2‘.
