In the early hours of January 16, Saif Ali Khan, 54, was attacked by an assailant at his home in Bandra, Mumbai. The actor sustained multiple stab wounds and was promptly rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent spinal and plastic surgeries. After receiving treatment for five days, he was discharged on January 21.
Authorities swiftly arrested the attacker, and an investigation into the motive behind the incident is ongoing.
