Plot of Sanam Teri Kasam

Taking inspiration from Shiva and Sati, the movie is a modern twist to the old legends. It also draws inspiration from the novel Love Story by Eric Segal.
The movie shows Harshvardhan Rane as Inder Lal Parihaar, a tough ex-convict, and opposite him, one sees Mawra Hocane as Saraswati (Saru) Parthasaarthy Parihaar, a very shy girl who is a librarian by profession.
Their story starts as strangers, where the guy falls for the girl, but the latter has no idea about the same. However, then fate plays a game, the two meet, they become friends, and eventually fall in love and get married. However, a tragedy hits them before they can write even the first letter of their happily ever after.
