In a recent interview on the Raw Talks With VK podcast, Naga Chaitanya addressed his divorce from Samantha and questioned why people consider him a criminal for it. He shared that they have both moved on with their lives, and he has found love in Sobhita while still holding great respect for his previous marriage. In the same conversation, he expressed his disappointment over people cursing his now-wife, actress Sobhita Dhulipala, assuming that she was responsible for his divorce from Samantha. He clarified that his bond with Sobhita developed very organically through social media after his divorce and had nothing to do with his previous marriage. He called her a true hero for remaining strong and graceful amidst all the criticism.
Samantha and Naga Chaitanya got married in 2017 and announced their separation in 2021. They first shared the screen in the 2010 film ‘Ye Maaya Chesave‘, directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. The duo’s on-screen chemistry won over fans, and they went on to collaborate on several more films before their marriage.
