In a promotional chat with Hamad Al Reyami, Salman expressed his deep admiration for Dharmendra, calling him one of the most remarkable figures in the industry. When asked about remaking Dharmendra’s films, Salman Khan revealed that he would love to remake three or four of them. His list includes Chacha Bhatija, Seeta Aur Geeta, and Sholay, which he considers a must. He also mentioned Ram Balram, emphasizing that he has watched all of Dharmendra’s films.
A Special Bond with the Deol Family
Salman Khan shares a strong bond with Dharmendra and his sons, Sunny and Bobby Deol. Ahead of Sikandar’s release, Sunny showed his support on Instagram by sharing the film’s poster and wishing Salman luck, writing, “My dear @beingsalmankhan, all the very best for #Sikandar release.”
Salman Khan’s Sikandar has opened to mixed reviews and has collected only Rs 26 crore so far, falling short of Vicky Kaushal‘s Chhaava. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film features Rashmika Mandanna, Sharman Joshi, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles.
Meanwhile, Salman greeted fans on Eid from his balcony, waving alongside his niece behind bulletproof glass amid security concerns due to recent death threats.
