Salman Khan and Maharastra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde attended the friendly cricket match ‘Neta XI Vs Abhineta XI,’ organized by former Union Sports Minister and Member of Parliament Anurag Thakur to create awareness about TB. The ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ actor was seen wearing a blue printed t-shirt, paired with jeans. His clean-shaven look of the ‘Sikendar’ star charmed all.
On the other hand, Deputy CM Shinde was seen in an all-white formal look. According to ANI, speaking to the media at the event, Deputy CM Eknath Shinde said, “Leaders and actors have come together on one platform for fulfilling PM Modi’s vision for a TB-free India…I congratulate Anurag Thakur, who is the captain of the leaders’ team, and Suniel Shetty, who is the captain of the actors’ team. This is a great initiative to raise awareness for a crucial social cause.”
In this match, Bollywood’s beloved star Suniel Shetty’s and BJP MP and former union minister Anurag Thakur’s teams were seen competing against each other. Along with Salman Khan, there were around 50 celebrities in attendance.
Sohail Khan was also present at the event. Speaking to media he said, “The match is played between netas and abhinetas (politicians and actors), well-known people of our country who can influence the audience, so this is a big initiative by Anurag ji.TB is spreading very fast in our country, so to stop it and spread awareness about it, politicians and actors play this game.”
