Mohit Suri‘s romantic drama ‘Saiyaara’, starring debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has risen to all-new heights. According to the latest reports, the film hit a new milestone at the box office by becoming the highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2025 in the international market. As per Sacnilk, ‘Saiyaara’ grossed approximately Rs 94 crore in overseas markets, surpassing the international lifetime earnings of the historical film ‘Chhaava’, starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. In just 13 days, the film saw its international box office collections grow to an estimated Rs 94 crore. With this, the movie dethrones ‘Chhaava’ which previously held the record for earning a lifetime collection of Rs 91 crore at the international box office. The film is only the second Hindi movie to cross the Rs 90 crore mark at the international box office, a remarkable performance, especially for a film starring debutants in the lead roles. The movie beat out the likes of Akshay Kumar‘s ‘Housefull 5’ which earned an estiamted Rs 70.25 crore, Aamir Khan‘s ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ which earned Rs 66.75 crore and the Salman Khan starrer ‘Sikandar’ which earned an estimated Rs 54 crore.Among all Indian films released in 2025 so far, ‘Saiyaara’ currently occupies the second spot, only behind ‘L2: Empuraan’. The Mohanlal starrer has a total overseas gross collection of Rs 124.50 crore. With weeks to go before it can bow out of cinemas, ‘Saiyaara’ is expected to further strengthen its position in the coming weeks.On the global front, the film has also crossed the Rs 400 crore mark in worldwide collections, becoming only the second after ‘Chhaava’ (Rs 808 crore) to achieve this milestone. The film’s current total is estimated to be around Rs 414 crore. ‘Saiyaara’ is on course to potentially enter the Rs 500 crore club by the end of its third weekend.
