Tollywood star Rana Daggubati is gearing up for the release of his much-awaited series ‘Rana Naidu Season 2’. Ahead of the release, the actor was seen sharing his experience of working in both South Indian cinema and Bollywood. Rana also opened up about his journey with a corneal transplant and how he managed to perform action sequences in films after the surgery.Rana Daggubati about doing action sequences after corneal transplantIn a recent conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Rana shared insights into the physical challenges he faces while performing action scenes on set after the procedure. The Baahubali actor revealed that his eye has almost become a joke, as he lost vision on one side completely following the corneal transplant. “During action scenes, it gets really funny if I don’t have my lenses on—there’s too much dust, and it gets pretty messy. But yeah, I’ve lived through all of that now,” he shared.
Rana also spoke about how he approaches the situation light-heartedly: “I even joke with people that I’m almost like the Terminator. I’ve got an eye, a kidney, and a bunch of other things that are transplants. So, if you’ve seen The Terminator, yes, I’m almost there, guys!” he added.Rana’s corneal transplantRana has previously discussed his struggle with partial blindness in his right eye, which led to a corneal transplant.
