Ram Charan confirms Cricket scenes in RC16′, shares BTS glimpses |

Director Buchi Babu Sana and Ram Charan are working on an upcoming sports drama film, tentatively called, ‘RC16‘. The film is currently in the production phase and the cinematographer of the film, Rathna Velu shared a BTS picture from the sets of the film and shared on social media what sport will be the part of the film.
On X (formerly Twitter) he shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse, revealing that cricket will officially be a part of the movie. While sharing the picture he wrote “Night Shoot! Flood lights! Power Cricket! Weird Angles! #RC16,” confirming that cricket scenes are being filmed in Hyderabad.
Fans previously saw Ram Charan play cricket in films like ‘Rachha’ and ‘Orange’ and was well appreciated by fans. It seems the actor is comfortable with the sport, and audiences are eager to see him back on the cricket field.
The movie features a star-studded cast, with Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, marking her first collaboration with Ram Charan. Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar is also expected to play an important role. Veteran actors Jagapathi Babu, and ‘Mirzapur’ fame Divyenndu Shadma are also part of the cast.
Musical maestro AR Rahman is composing the music.

There have been speculations which indicate that the film might be titled ‘Peddi,’ and that Ram Charan is supposedly happy with the title. The title is likely to sync well with Charan’s character in the film and will work well with the audience. However, the makers have not officially confirmed the title.
Ram Charan’s recent film, ‘Game Changer,’ directed by Shankar didn’t quite meet expectations at the box office, so fans are eagerly awaiting ‘RC16’.
