Prabhu Deva’s ex-wife Ramlath comments on their divorce after 14 years; she had earlier slammed Nayanthara for relationship with her husband | Hindi Movie News

Prabhu Deva was married to Ramlath and the couple got divorced in 2011. This divorce wasn’t smooth as it had to do with Prabhu Deva’s relationship with Nayanthara. He wanted to marry the actress. While earlier people thought they were rumours, Prabhu Deva had confessed to being in a relationship with her in September 2010 and expressed desire to marry her.
Meanwhile now, years after the divorce, Prabu Deva’s first wife Ramlath has opened up on their relationship and divorce. In an interview with the Tamil YouTube channel Aval Vikatan, Ramlath opened up on their son Rishi Raghavendra Deva’s debut stage performance with his father Prabhu Deva. She said that he’s been a very good father to his children, despite their divorce. She said, “His children are his life. He is very attached to both of them. They are a father and son who talk to each other no matter what.”
She added that he has always been extremely supportive as a father towards his children after the divorce and always had a sense of responsibility towards them. Ramlath added that she has nothing bad to say about Prabhu Deva as he has never spoken anything against her. “I would be angry with him if he said anything bad about me after we broke up. He never said a single word about me. I wouldn’t say anything bad about someone like that.”
After Prabhu Deva got divorced with 2011, he broke up with Nayanthara in 2012. Reportedly, he had asked the actress to quit her career if she wanted to marry him and that ended their relationship.
Nayanthara is now happily married Vignesh Shivan. They welcomed their twins sons Uyir and Ulagam in 2022.
