Prabhas Unveils Unseen Avatar in Maruthi’s Horror Comedy ‘The Raja Saab’ |
Pan-India star Prabhas will soon be seen on the big screens in the upcoming horror comedy film, ‘The Raja Saab’ directed by Maruthi. As the film is set to release on Jaunary 9, the director took recently claimed that the Rebel Star will be seen in a look that nobody has ever seen before in India cinema.
Director Maruthi talks about Prabhas’ role
The makers recently shared the third episode of “The legacy of The Raja Saab” where the makers talk about the film. In the 1-minute 21-second video, director Maruthi is seen speaking about Prabhas’ character. He said, “Telugu audience has seen the entertaining version of Prabhas. But Pan India has never. After coming out of the theatre, you will remember Prabhas from this film for many years. The get-up and everything, it is a great episode and has never been seen on Indian screen.”The 44-year-old filmmaker also said that everyone worked very hard because the film has horror and comedy. He said the film must be new and fun because it has Prabhas. He said, “The make-up, hair, the way he talks. There is this innate swag in him, in the way he sits and stands… the detailing he gave when he sits on the chair. You will enjoy it very much. Wait and watch.”

The trailer of the film shows Prabhas as a light hearted happy go lucky guy who inherits a haunted ancestral mansion filled with evil spirits. The trailer of the film also shows him facing ghosts. Interestingly, he will be seen in a dual role, where his other character is seen in a more aged look, who also seems to have powers. It also shows Sanjay Dutt playing the main antagonist, who is a menacing figure, menacing figure seens as a hypnotist, exorcist, and psychiatrist.
