The veteran actor, who makes a special appearance in Vishnu Manchu’s ambitious mythological epic Kannappa, reportedly did not charge a single rupee for his role — not even for his flight tickets to New Zealand, where a major portion of the film is being shot.The revelation came directly from Vishnu Manchu, the film’s producer and lead star, who expressed his deep gratitude towards Mohanlal during a recent interview with ETimes.. Vishnu shared that despite being one of Indian cinema’s most celebrated and busiest actors, Mohanlal graciously agreed to be a part of Kannappa without any remuneration.
