Fashion designer and new mom Masaba Gupta celebrated her 36th birthday on Friday in the company of her loved ones, marking the day with laughter, warmth, and a dose of cuteness. While the designer described the occasion as one filled with “simple joys,” it was her baby daughter, Matara, who stole the spotlight with her adorable moment with her grandmother, Neena Gupta.

Masaba took to Instagram to share snippets from her birthday celebration, including a short but heartwarming video featuring her mother and daughter. The video shows Neena sitting next to baby Matara and gently teaching her the “Om” chant. However, it was Matara who caught everyone off guard by calling out to her granny saying, “Neena.”

Masaba’s journey into motherhood
Masaba married actor Satyadeep Misra in January 2023 in an intimate ceremony. The couple welcomed Matara in October of the same year.
