Rani Mukerji expressed that it is a privilege to play a cop again. She also praised the service of Indian female police officers. In a recent interview with IANS, Rani Mukerji said, “I think it’s a huge privilege and a huge honour for me to be playing one of them, a woman in uniform.”The ‘Mardaani 3’ actor called the female police officers and their service ‘extraordinary’. “Because their life struggles, their stories, their challenges that they face in their day-to-day life, and the kind of crimes that they solve — I think they’re extraordinary,” she said. To have a threequel from the franchise that I have built released in my 30th year is again a sign for me.
