Superstar Mammootty is set to collaborate with legendary filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan after a 32-year hiatus, following their iconic 1994 film ‘Vidheyan’. The actor’s production house confirmed the reunion, with the film’s title to be revealed on January 23rd during a pooja ceremony. This marks their fourth film together, with Mammootty reprising the lead in Gopalakrishnan’s vision.

The actor’s production banner has officially announced the film via Instagram. The film’s title will be announced on Friday, January 23. The makers will officially launch the film tomorrow with a pooja ceremony, where the title will be announced. In an earlier interview with Manorama News, Adoor Gopalakrishnan had confirmed that he will be collaborating with Mammootty again. “Mammootty himself will play the lead role. The casting for the remaining characters is currently underway. As the scripting was going on, only Mammootty’s face came to my mind for the central character. I felt that he would be the perfect person for the role. This will be the fourth time he plays the male lead in one of my films.
