Madharaasi: First single promo of Sivakarthikeyan, AR Murugadoss’ action film to premieres on THIS date |
The makers of ‘Madharaasi’, featuring Sivakarthikeyan and Rukmini Vasanth in lead roles, have announced that the film’s first single promo will be released on Tuesday, July 29 at 5 PM. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the action film is scheduled for theatrical release on September 5.High-Impact Action Thriller‘Madharaasi’ is touted as a high-impact action movie. The title teaser, released in February, depicts Sivakarthikeyan facing tough choices amid a citywide security crisis triggered by a series of bomb explosions. The film also stars Vikranth, Vidyut Jammwal, Shabeer Kallarakkal, and Biju Menon.First Collaboration of Actor and DirectorIt marks the first movie where actor Sivakarthikeyan is directed by AR Murugadoss. Before this, Murugadoss wrote the story for Sivakarthikeyan’s 2014 sports-comedy ‘Maan Karate’, but he didn’t direct it. This new film marks the first time they are working together as actor and director.Production and Technical TeamThe movie is produced by Sri Lakshmi Movies and features a skilled technical team including cinematographer Sudeep Elamon, editor A Sreekar Prasad, and music composer Anirudh. While the storyline has not been revealed yet, the film will be released in Tamil as well as Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi, with the Hindi version titled ‘Dil Madharaasi’.Sivakarthikeyan’s Other Project: ‘Parasakthi’Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan is also part of Sudha Kongara’s upcoming period drama ‘Parasakthi’, which takes place in the historic setting of Old Madras.
