Snoop Dogg took over the stage to headline the NFL’s second-ever Christmas Halftime Show on Thursday evening. Joining the rapper to spread Christmas cheer, was a list of star performers ranging from country singer Lainey Wilson, to legend Andrea Bocelli and his son, Matteo Bocelli, and the voice cast of Huntrix, the fictional trio from ‘KPop Demon Hunters’. Together, the performers belted out some of their biggest hits, while also blending hip-hop, pop and holiday classics. “It’s Christmas, and we’re about to do some of my favourite Christmas songs,” Snoop told the crowd before setting the medley off with a rendition of ‘My Favourite Things’ from the classic musical, ‘The Sound of Music’.Dressed in a red suit with a fur-trimmed jacket, Snoop opened his set with popular tracks like ‘The Next Episode’, ‘Nuthin’ but a G Thang’, ‘Who Am I (What’s My Name)?’ and ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’. All the tracks were backed by a live orchestra playing on the field. However, it was the guest performers who had fans buzzing on social media. Singers Ejae, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami, the voice cast behind the fictional KPop band, Huntrix from the blockbuster animated film ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’, took the stage to perform a new rendition of ‘The 12 Days of Christmas’, which they blended with their hit track ‘Golden’.
