However, it appears the family has now reconciled, putting speculations of a rift to rest.
In a heartwarming post on Instagram, Juhi Babbar shared a picture with brothers Aarya and Prateik, smiling together. Her caption read: “Raj Babbar ji ke teeno bacche… JUHI AARYA PRATEIK… A FACT NOBODY CAN CHANGE.” The post has caught fans’ attention, hinting that the bond between the siblings is back on track.
This comes months after Prateik’s wedding, which not only saw the Babbar family missing but also sparked buzz when the Four More Shots Please! actor dropped the ‘Babbar’ surname and began identifying as Prateik Smita Patil, honouring his late mother.
On the occasion of Siblings Day, Aarya Babbar also expressed his love for his siblings in an interview with ETimes. “Siblings aren’t just family—they are our first friends, our strongest allies, and the keepers of our childhood memories. My sister, Juhi, has been all of that and so much more… I also have a younger sibling, Prateik, and I will always look out for him,” he said, adding that no matter how much life changes, the bond between siblings remains strong.
For the unversed, Juhi and Aarya are Raj Babbar’s children from his first marriage to Nadira Babbar. The veteran actor later married legendary actress Smita Patil, and the couple welcomed Prateik in 1986. Following Smita Patil’s untimely death, Raj eventually returned to his first family.
